ProFume® fumigant is a cylinderised gas fumigant labelled to control all life stages of insects in structures used to store, process and transport most commodities. Registered in Australia and in 22 countries, it is based on proven Sulfuryl Fluoride chemistry, manufactured in the United States by Douglas Products and meets Codex standards for international trade. With the active ingredient of Sulfuryl Fluoride, ProFume® is not considered an ozone-depleting substance, and it does not interact with or cause local ozone formation.

Commodity fumigation with ProFume® is proven effective on all life stages of postharvest insects. ProFume® fumigations reduce plant downtime as it rapidly distributes into pest harborage areas and quickly aerates upon ventilation. Chamber fumigations can be completed in 12 hours or less. The effectiveness of ProFume® has been demonstrated in university studies and commercial facilities. Uses include mills, grain elevators, warehouses, food production facilities, pet food and pasta plants, stationary transportation vehicles, fumigation chambers, fumigated stacks and more. ProFume® does not affect commodity flavour, quality, colour or processing characteristics as it is an odourless and colourless gas.
